I started recording these songs back in early 2020 with the aim of releasing my first album. The 2020 Covid lockdowns made it an easy decision to split the album into 2 EPs. So here we have it, the second EP of what would have initially been an album with 'Sprint Through a Hurricane', released in 2020.

New song 'Forty Windmills' out now !!

Fresh off a couple of great gigs as part of the Live And Local festival in my home town, I am excited to release my new song called 'Forty Windmills'.

The chorus 'break these windmills down' might seem a strange idea but is inspired by the famous 'Tilting at Windmills' scene from the novel Don Quixote. The title character is riding along on his horse when he comes across 30 or 40 beasts up ahead. He attempts to destroy them and when he fails, his sidekick, Sancho Panza points out that the beasts are nothing more than simple windmills. I could relate to the metaphor of facing an enemy you've created in your mind, in my case, mostly that feeling of self doubt when releasing music...but here I am, breaking those windmills down.

You can stream 'Forty Windmills' on spotify here...

Success for 'Runaway Train'

My recent single 'Runaway Train' was released in mid June and I'm stoked to get so much support for this song. So far it has been streamed over 20,000 times on Spotify and in over 30 countries.

It also received great support from radio stations across Australia thanks to AMRAP (Australian Music Radio Airplay Project). In AMRAP's regional airplay chart it was the 3rd most played song on regional stations around Australia in the week of release. Big thanks to all community radio who supported me!!
